Why is Catholicism a cult?
While Romanism has many, many heresies, the one main point that makes the Roman church a cult is its denial of Christ's atonement. Paul tells us clearly that the Gospel is Christ, Him crucified, and Him resurrected. While Catholics believe that Christ is the Son of God, and they believe He was raised bodily, they do not believe that Christ's sacrifice was sufficient, thus rejecting the only Gospel capable of saving them.
